How often do you treat yourself to the simple decadence of a fresh cup of tea? I know teabags are ultra convenient but when it comes to health benefits, they are no comparison to a live brew. When last did you make yourself a fresh cup of boiled ginger with a squeeze of lemon? This ‘recipe’ is so easy, there’s no excuse not to try it…
(Makes 1 cup of tea)
- 2cm cube fresh ginger
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Freshly boiled water
Put your cube of ginger in a mug with the lemon juice, top it up with hot water and leave to infuse for 5-7 minutes, or longer if desired. Remove the ginger before drinking.
